One such statue is of our beloved lord Ganesh. Ganeshji is treated as a family member by Hindus as a son, brother, or as a friend. He is adored by children and adults equally for his cleverness and childlike behavior. There lies a hilarious story in Mythology confirming his fetish for food.

Once Ganesha has filled his big stomach with loads of food….. as usual but soon he realized that it has reached a limit where his stomach can explode anytime. To avoid this condition and the anger of his mother, he decided to tie a snake around his belly to stop the explosion.
